i think yoshi should go down to oside and make a video :) and give someone a shirt :P
ReplyDeleteat the basics, the things that make up a good magazine are articles that are relevant to your market. the articles don't even have to be specifically "skate" articles but they need to be appealing to skaters. so find out what's appealing to skaters, then write about that.
ReplyDeleteand do something different. if you want to be successful, you need to put something out there that is different.
so, why is your magazine going to be different?
and the last thing -- good photography. good photos go a long way. i can sit and stare at a good action shot for a while. photos draw people in and then let them dive into the reading.
